Mithila Nath

Biography

Mithila Nath is a Nutritionist at Surecell Medical (BD) Ltd., Chattogram, with expertise in clinical nutrition, dietetics, and food science. She holds a Master's degree in Applied Human Nutrition & Dietetics and a Bachelor's degree in Food Science and Technology from Chattogram Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (CVASU). Her professional experience includes nutritional assessment, dietary counseling, therapeutic diet planning, and lifestyle management for patients with acute and chronic diseases.

Mithila has participated in several national and international training programs in food product development, quality control, clinical nutrition, and weight management, including training at Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (Malaysia), Chittagong Diabetic General Hospital, and the Bangladesh Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (BADN). She has also been involved in research on the effects of Gynura procumbens leaf-based diets on diabetic mice and has gained practical experience through industrial placements in food processing, quality assurance, and nutrition-related organizations. She is committed to promoting evidence-based nutrition practices and improving community health through nutrition education and counseling.
